Get ready spend a long weekend driving back roads to our destinations in Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee. We'll hit plenty of good routes along the way to our first stop at Adventures on the Gorge on the New River. We'll ride the rapids first thing the next morning then head to Hard Rock Casino in Bristol for a fun night. Tickets include your stay for both nights and guided white water rafting down the beautiful New River. White rafting is for ages 12+.
Begin your trip with a scenic drive through the Appalachian Mountains, including the exhilarating Back of the Dragon, a road with 32 miles of curves and stunning views. Enjoy a hearty lunch at the Back of the Dragon Brewery before continuing to Fayetteville, WV, to settle in for the evening at Adventures on the Gorge.
Start the day with a thrilling white water rafting adventure on the New River. After lunch, take a scenic, non-highway route to Bristol, TN, to enjoy a mix of mountain views and fun driving roads. End the day with dinner and entertainment at the Hard Rock Hotel.
Wrap up your adventure with a morning drive along The Snake, a legendary road with 489 curves in 33 miles, before heading back home.
